NATURE AND NURTURE

The other day our family was outside preparing our garden for Fall planting. There were a ton of caterpillars in the dirt. Bottle Rocket and Smoke Bomb wanted to put them in a box and keep them to watch them turn into butterflies (like the commercial on TV says!). Anyhow, we convinced, rather told them, that was not a possibility and so they scooped them up and carried the caterpillars back to the swingset. A few minutes later Smoke Bomb ran over and asked MacGyver what caterpillars like to eat. He told him leaves and vegetables. A few minutes later we went over to see Smoke Bomb trying to get the caterpillars to eat all the leaves and grass blades he had lovingly collected! What a sweet nurturer. He has such a big heart!
